The site of the NY Faerie Festival is a beautiful, magical place. Largely forested, it features several open fields and a creek (wading only).
Hosted on a beloved tract of private land in the hamlet of Ouaquaga, care has been taken to provide for the well-being of the land, its visitors and its neighborhood. While portable toilets and wash stations are currently a necessity, recycling and composting are the policy, and "zero waste" is our goal.
Please note that the festival grounds are marked with fencing or tape. It may seem self-evident, but some apparently need reminding that areas outside the borders or across the road are private property whether posted or not, and should not be entered without direct invitation from the owners.
